The Word has something unfinished if it doesn't continue in the image. I've always thought that my job was to find the keys to this union and that's why I've always written on the images I painted and painted on the words I wrote.

Sometimes even words written by others seek my brush. But for the union to work, there must be affinity of soul. Thus were born my images for Einaudi, EDT, Lattes, Adelphi Ponte alle Grazie, Ediciclo...). To redeem illustration from the prejudice that relegates it to the condition of painting's poor relative (as if the entire history of painting weren't primarily illustration!), and restore it to the dignity of "luster".
